<p>Next we have Microsoft.  Yes, that Microsoft. What are they doing that&#8217;s so new?  Well there have been lots of updates to Hotmail and Ben Kaye, senior product manager – Hotmail, Messenger and Skydrive, is going to show us what they are.</p>

<p>Presenting are <a href="http://www.scanly.ca/">Scanly.ca</a>, where student discounts are a scan away; <a href="https://pmrobot.com/">PMRobot</a> is project management for custom development companies, and <a href="http://www.lumasonix.com/">Lumasonix</a>, where they are developing next generation equipment for the early detection of cancer. Lumasonix&#8217;s approach uses Photo-Acoustic Computed Tomography <a href="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Photoacoustic_imaging_in_biomedicine">(PACT)</a> technology to develop a full 3D volume image.</p>
