Our start-up companies for January’s Toronto Tech Meetup are Kidobi and Askthedoctor.com.
Kidobi uses artificial intelligence, crowd sourcing and expert opinions to deliver unique content to each child. Parents can relax knowing that their child is getting content which suits their educational needs and entertainment tastes. Our software adapts to each child’s progress and collects detailed and valuable data for parents, content providers, and product manufacturers.
Askthedoctor.com is an online source of free medical advice for
anyone, anywhere, in the world. Users submit their personalized medical questions, free of cost, via a simple-to-use online form. When a question is answered, users are notified by email, and their response is posted on the website. No identifying personal data is shared, thus questions and answers remain anonymous. Depending on the nature of the question, answers may be provided by general practitioners or a specialist.
